I do draw a lot of insight from nature. I suppose I relate to nature more than other things in this world. It makes me happy to know that you thought that my poem was beautiful. Thank you.
I am only me is so true. However, I am only me also hides the truth that each of us is so much. I am only me implies that each of us is just as large as the universe instead of only as small as an individual.
I’ve always looked at it this way: we are the Universe and the Universe is us. I am only me, you are only you, the Universe is only the Universe, and we are all one in the same. In other words, we’re all individual pieces of the whole, but each of us is whole in and of ourselves….
Hi! I know Christy B. I thought your poem was kind of sad. Thank you for the visit to my site today. I’m glad you liked my post “How to Get Loyal Visitors…”.
Nice to meet you.

Thank you for returning the favor, and coming to my blog. I do appreciate your patronage. If you want sad, I could tell you that 99.9% of all species that have ever existed on the Earth are now extinct. If you want happy, I could tell you that humans aren’t one of those species. As a matter of fact, humans are now seven billion strong and some of them like exploring all of facets of existence.
Hi,
Thanks for checking out my About page today.
1. I see Animal Farm under Goodreads. One of my favorite books, sad though. I mean to read Catch 22 but no time.
2. I am in love with your question mark avatar very cool.
Thanks again for today’s visit.

Thank you for coming to my site too. I just finished Animal Farm recently and I enjoyed it. The moment I saw the question mark bench near a MAX station by the Oregonian’s publishing building, I knew I had to take a picture. It definitely came in handy later.
like the melody of your poem. sometimes i also used to think i am only me, but realize then, i’m many.
It is always good to have many people that you can count on. I’m glad that you like my poem and its melody. Thank you for commenting.
i like your many-faceted you (as far as i can estimate that 😉 )
♥ ♥ ♥
Thank you for the hearts.
Beautiful.
the wind whispers
upon the last leaves
and i know
i am only me
Nature’s ways can bring a lot of insight.

I’m glad that you like the melodious text of this poem. Thank you for brightening my day.
Nothing brings out the existentialist and introspective thoughts more than gazing into the depths of space. I suspect we can all relate to this.
The stars do tend to put me in an existential mindset. Speaking of which: http://youtu.be/RchHyJLRt8o.

Soft, sweet words of innocence. Very nice.
I’m glad you like these words. They came to me at an interesting time. That, however, is a story for another day…
